ABOUT US

The Banco delle Opere di Carità

Founded in Caserta in 1993, we are a volunteer organisation (ODV) that every day recovers surplus food and gives it, free of charge, to families in difficulty across Italy.

Our work rests on a simple conviction: every piece of food at risk of being wasted can become a smile for someone in need. We fight food poverty and food waste, standing between those who have plenty and those who are in need.
